Adirondack Seido Karate
About Seido Karate
The World Seido Karate Organization was established in
October 1976 in New York City by Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura.
Seido Karate is a strict, traditional Japanese style of karate that was founded on
three fundamental principles: respect, love and obedience.
In January 1988, Adirondack Seido Karate was formed in the Capital District
by Sei Shihan Don Carter and Jun Shihan Sandi Carter.
Seido Karate is dedicated to building and maintaining an organization
of the highest standards. It seeks to develop individuals of
strong body and mind, and it's members must maintain a high
standard of martial arts expertise and strong moral character.
Seido Karate seeks to unify the spiritual and physical aspects of
the student so as to develop a more integrated, capable individual.
